Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a high priority within Zandvliet Vleeswaren. CSR means we aim to optimize the sustainability of all our operations, creating a balance between the social, ecological and financial components. These components are also referred to as peopleplanet and profit.

CSR helps us achieve multiple objectives:

  • Motivated and productive co-workers,
  • Products with the lowest possible amounts of saturated fat, salt and sugar,
  • Allergy-free products, and
  • Waste minimization.

Zandvliet strives to be an attractive employer that motivates its employees. Motivated employees contribute to increased workforce productivity.

Products with the lowest possible amounts of saturated fat, salt and sugar

Zandvliet products contain the lowest possible amounts of saturated fat, salt and sugar, while maintaining our products' great taste.

Allergy-free products

We strive to make our products suitable for everyone, including persons with allergies. We therefore make sure our products contain the lowest possible amounts of E numbers, additives and allergens. This is an ongoing process which includes closely monitoring the latest developments.

Waste minimization

We keep a close eye on our waste production. Minimizing our packaging produces less waste, which in turn reduces the need for transport. This is environmentally-friendly and it saves costs. 

We use cardboard packaging to comply with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards.
